The Growth Management Department provides technical, professional and administrative support to the Planning Commission , the Local Planning Agency, the County Commission, the County Manager, various advisory boards and the general public a necessary to implement the Comprehensive Plan and Land Development Codes. Growth Managements also provides technical support to the county in the updating of the Land Development Codes and Comprehensive pan, and also provides support necessary to complete the required Evaluation and Appraisal Report. This Department is also responsible for the review of all current planning projects. This includes, but is not limited to, site plan review, stormwater management review, plat and replat submittal, and road construction plans as they pertain to subdivision plats.

The Gadsden County Growth
Management Department is in the process of updating all
applications. The Gadsden County Board of County
Commissioners voted to update all permit and application
fees effective October 1, 2006. Those applications
printed from the website or received from any Growth
Management staff prior to September 29, 2006 are no
longer valid. Please contact the Growth Management
