The Building Inspection Division, through enforcement of the Southern Standard Building Code and other state and local laws, provides building inspection services, issues building permits, and reviews construction in the unincorporated areas of Gadsden County and within the incorporated municipal limits of the City of Chattahoochee, Midway, Havana, and the town of Greensboro. In addition to permitting and performing inspection the Division collects all permit fees upon issuance of the building permit and performs the County Code Enforcement function.
