5.      PUBLIC HEARING – Comprehensive Plan Amendment – J-II Investments land use amendment – CPA-2006-06 (Small Scale Amendment)

 

         This Public Hearing is scheduled to consider a request for to amend the Gadsden County Comprehensive Plan, Future Land Use Map by changing the adopted land use district designation on a 3.08 acre parcel from Agriculture-2 (AG-2) (1:10) land use to Rural Residential (RR) (1:1) land use located on the east side of McNair Road approximately Ύ miles north of Fairbanks Ferry Road and south of US 27. J-II Investments, Owner/Applicant (Planning Commission 9-14-06) (County Commission 10-3-06)

 

6.         PUBLIC HEARING – Variance Modification Request – Hampton Inn detached sign – V-2006-01

 

            This Public Hearing is scheduled to consider a request for a modification to a previously approved variance to permit an additional wall sign and increase the square footage of the proposed signs on a 3.0 acre parcel located on the south side of I-10 east of Pat Thomas Parkway (SR 267) – Payal Hospitality, Inc. 7.         PUBLIC HEARING -- Final Plat Review – San Bonita Estates Subdivision --SD-2005-02

 

This Public Hearing is called to consider a request for Final Plat approval for “San Bonita Estates” Subdivision on an 84.2 acre parcel in the Rural Residential (RR) and Agriculture-2 (AG-2) land use districts, located on the west side of Gibson Road east of the CSX Railroad tracks and west of US 27 – San Bonita Estates, LLC., Owner/Applicant (P & Z 9-14-06) (County Commission 10-3-06)

                                                                                                                                               

8.         PUBLIC HEARING – Administrative Appeal – Use of RV’s for permanent residential use -- AP-2006-01

 

            This Public Hearing is called to consider a request for an appeal of an order issued by the Growth Management Director to discontinue using recreational vehicles as permanent residential units not within an RV park.

9.         PUBLIC HEARING -- Administrative Land Development Code Amendment -- Chapter 5, Section 5700 Signs, Subsection 5705, Billboard Prohibition --Land Development Code -- LDR-2006-04 

 

This Public Hearing is scheduled to consider a request for to amend the Gadsden County Land Development Code by amending Chapter 2, Definitions and Interpretations, Chapter 5, Development Standards, Section 5700 Signs, amending subsection 5705, Billboard Prohibition, to permit and regulate the placement, height, number, size and location and other design standards for billboards in the county. -- Growth Management Department, Applicant (Planning Commission) (County Commission)

 

10.       PUBLIC HEARING -- Administrative Land Development Code Amendment -- Chapter 5, Subsection 5400, Land Development Code -- Natural Resource Protection Standards -- LDR-2006-03 

 

            This Public Hearing is scheduled to consider a request for to amend the Gadsden County Land Development Code by amending Chapter 5, Development Standards, Section 5400, Natural Resource Protection Standards and Subsections 5401-5405, repealing existing landscape and vegetation preservation standards and adopting new standards for the preservation and design and construction of landscape improvements within the county.– Growth Management Department Applicant (Planning Commission) (County Commission)
