This Public Hearing is called to consider a request for an appeal of an order issued by the Growth Management Director to discontinue using recreational vehicles as permanent residential units not within an RV park. This Public Hearing is scheduled to consider a request for to amend the Gadsden County Comprehensive Plan, Future Land Use Map by changing the adopted land use district designation on two parcels totaling 68.88 ± acres from Agriculture-3 (AG-3) (1:20) land use to Agriculture-1 (AG-1) (1:5) land use located on the east side of Pat Thomas Parkway (SR 267) and north and south of Cooks Landing Road.             This Public Hearing is called to consider a request for conceptual plat approval for an 88 unit single family subdivision on a 441+- acre parcel in the Agricultural -1 (AG-1) (1:5) land use category, located on the north side of Reynolds Road east of McCall Bridge Road and west of Lake Talquin, Talquin Ventures, LLC, Owner; Parvey Companies, Applicant (Planning Commission 11-16-06-06) (County Commission 12-5-06).

This Public Hearing is scheduled to consider a request for to amend the Gadsden County Land Development Code by amending Chapter 2, Definitions and Interpretations, Chapter 5, Development Standards, Section 5700 Signs, amending subsection 5705, Billboard Prohibition, to permit and regulate the placement, height, number, size and location and other design standards for billboards in the county. -- Growth Management Department, Applicant (Planning Commission) (County Commission)

This Public Hearing is scheduled to consider a request for to amend the Gadsden County Land Development Code by amending Chapter 5, Development Standards, Section 5400, Natural Resource Protection Standards and Subsections 5401-5405, repealing existing landscape and vegetation preservation standards and adopting new standards for the preservation and design and construction of landscape improvements within the County – Growth Management Department Applicant (Planning Commission) (County Commission).
