5.         PUBLIC HEARING -- Abandonment and Vacation of Right-of-Way—A&V -2007-01

 

This Public Hearing is called to consider a request to abandon and vacate an approximate 125 foot portion of Tharpe Street, a County maintained public right-of-way, and Lakeview Court, an easement right-of-way, located west of Ocklawaha Circle at the intersection of Lakeview Court in the Lakeview Shores and Drake Acres area near Lake Talquin. – Richard and Diane Hinkle, Applicant (Planning Commission 6-14-07)(County Commission 7-3-07)

 

6.         PUBLIC HEARING -- Abandonment and Vacation of Right-of-Way— A&V -2007-02

 

            This Public Hearing is called to consider a request to abandon and vacate a 0.05 mile (250 feet ±) portion of McCall Bridge Road, a public right-of-way located at the end of McCall Bridge Road near and adjacent to Lake Talquin. –Idlewild Homeowners Association, Inc., Applicant (Planning Commission 6-14-07)(County Commission 7-3-07)

 

7.         PUBLIC HEARING – Comprehensive Plan Amendment – Text Amendments/Map Series Amendments – CPA-2006-08AD (Large Scale Amendment)

 

            This Public Hearing is scheduled to consider an administrative request to amend the Gadsden County Comprehensive Plan, Future Land Use Element, Traffic Circulation Element, Housing Element, Infrastructure Element, Conservation Element and Recreation and Open Space Element by changing text policies and associated maps to reflect revised Goals, Objectives and policies of the County. These items consist of applications that have been submitted to the Growth Management Department for review and will be scheduled for future Planning Commission action. No action shall be taken on any items identified under this heading until these items have been appropriately advertised for public hearings.

 

8.         PUBLIC HEARING -- Final Plat – Carmen Maria Phase I Subdivision– SD-2005-12

 

This Public Hearing is called to consider a request for a Final Plat approval for the Carmen Maria Phase I Subdivision on an 18.6 /45.93 acre parcel in the Rural Residential (RR) land use category, located on the south side of McCall Bridge Road east of Lakeview Point Road. Talquin Springs General Partnership, Owners; Parker Consulting Service, Inc., Applicant (Planning Commission 7-12-07) (County Commission 8-21-07).

 

 

9.         PUBLIC HEARING -- Final Plat – Magnolia Forest Phase II and IV Subdivision – SD-2004-02 (Formerly Project. No. 03PZ-038-205-2-09)

 

This Public Hearing is called to consider a request for a Final Plat approval for Magnolia Forest Phases II and IV consisting of 81± acres in the Rural Residential (RR) land use category located on the north side of US 90 southeast of Selman Road and east of the Joyland Subdivision. 10.       PUBLIC HEARING – Comprehensive Plan Amendment – Future Land Use Map Amendments – CPA-2006-16AD (M) and (U) (Large Scale Map Amendment)

 

This Public Hearing is scheduled to consider an administrative request to amend the Gadsden County Comprehensive Plan, Future Land Use Map by changing the  land use designation on 61 lots, consisting of approximately 34 acres, located in the western portion of the Ochlockonee Estates subdivision from the Commercial (COMM) land use category and the Agriculture 3 (AG-3) land use category  to the Rural Residential (RR) land use category in order to correct errors, to assign the actual land use to a property as it is used, and to change the land use on 39 acres  comprising portions of two parcels from the Rural Residential(RR) land use category to the Agriculture-3 (AG-3) land use category located west of CR 269 and south of Dolan Road at the terminus of Graceland Road in western Gadsden County in order to change the map as a result of map errors made upon conversion of the original land use data to the existing map.  Gadsden County Growth Management Department/Applicant (Planning Commission TBD) (County Commission TBD).

This Public Hearing is called to consider a request for a conceptual plat approval for the proposed Selman Road Subdivision on Lot 4 of the Pine Manor minor subdivision consisting of a 16.05 ± acre parcel in the Rural Residential (RR) land use category, located on the east side of Selman Road one mile north of US Highway 90.
