6.         PUBLIC HEARING -- Conceptual/Preliminary Site Plan – Tri State Utility Supply -- SP-2006-10

 

            This Public Hearing is called to consider a request for a request for a conceptual/preliminary site plan approval for the proposed Tri-State Utility Supply on a 3.05± acre lot in the Gadsden Commercial Exchange industrial subdivision located in the Industrial land use category on the northwest side of Garrett Court west of Scotland Road (CR 159) – Tri-State Utility Products, Inc., Owner/Applicant (Planning Commission 1-18-07)(County Commission 2-6-07)

 

7.         PUBLIC HEARING – Comprehensive Plan Amendment – Text Amendments/Map Series Amendments – CPA-2006-08AD (Large Scale Amendment)

 

This Public Hearing is scheduled to consider an administrative request to amend the Gadsden County Comprehensive Plan, Future Land Use Element, Traffic Circulation Element, Housing Element, Infrastructure Element and Conservation Element by changing the text policies and associated maps to reflect changing Goals, Objectives and policies of the County. Gadsden County Growth Management Department/Applicant (Planning Commission 1-18-07) (County Commission 2-6-07).

 

8.         PUBLIC HEARING – Comprehensive Plan Amendment – Future Land Use Map Amendments – CPA-2006-16AD(A)- (Q ) (Large Scale Map Amendment)

 

This Public Hearing is scheduled to consider an administrative request to amend the Gadsden County Comprehensive Plan, Future Land Use Map by changing the  land use designation on 121 properties located throughout the County in order to correct errors, to assign the actual land use to a property or re-establish the original land use that was changed without consent or documentation of authorization to change the land use designation or which were changed as a result of map errors made upon conversion of the original land use data to the existing map.  Gadsden County Growth Management Department/Applicant (Planning Commission 1-18-07) (County Commission 2-6-07).

 

9.         PUBLIC HEARING – Administrative Amendments to the Comprehensive Plan Capital Improvement Element – CPA-2006-07 (Large Scale Amendment)

 

This Public Hearing is scheduled to consider an administrative request to amend the Gadsden County Comprehensive Plan, Capital Improvements Element to reflect needed and required yearly updates and new prioroties. Gadsden County Growth Management Department/Applicant (Planning Commission 1-18-07) (County Commission 2-6-07).

These items consist of applications that have been submitted to the Growth Management Department for review and will be scheduled for future Planning Commission action. No action shall be taken on any items identified under this heading until these items have been appropriately advertised for public hearings.

 

10.       PUBLIC HEARING -- Conceptual Plat – Plantations at Fox Chase – Sd-2006-09

 

This Public Hearing is called to consider a request for a conceptual plat approval for the proposed Plantations at Fox Chase Subdivision on a 1141.2± acre parcel in the Agricultural 1 and Conservation land use categories located on the west side of Glory Road and south side of Shade Farm Road. The Plantations at Fox Chase, Owner/Applicant (Planning Commission 2-15-07) (County Commission 3-6-07).

 

11.       PUBLIC HEARING -- Administrative Land Development Code Amendment -- Chapter 5, Section 5700 Signs, Subsection 5705, Billboard Prohibition --Land Development Code -- LDR-2006-04 

 

This Public Hearing is scheduled to consider a request for to amend the Gadsden County Land Development Code by amending Chapter 2, Definitions and Interpretations, Chapter 5, Development Standards, Section 5700 Signs, amending subsection 5705, Billboard Prohibition, to permit and regulate the placement, height, number, size and location and other design standards for billboards in the County. -- Growth Management Department, Applicant (Planning Commission) (County Commission)

 

12.       PUBLIC HEARING -- Administrative Land Development Code Amendment -- Chapter 5, Subsection 5400, Land Development Code -- Natural Resource Protection Standards -- LDR-2006-03 

 

This Public Hearing is scheduled to consider a request for to amend the Gadsden County Land Development Code by amending Chapter 5, Development Standards, Section 5400, Natural Resource Protection Standards and Subsections 5401-5405, repealing existing landscape and vegetation preservation standards and adopting new standards for the preservation and design and construction of landscape improvements within the County – Growth Management Department, Applicant (Planning Commission) (County Commission).
