Public Hearing is scheduled to consider an administrative request to amend the
Gadsden County Comprehensive Plan, Future Land Use Element, Traffic Circulation
Element, Housing Element, Infrastructure Element, Conservation Element and
Recreation and Open Space Element by changing text policies and associated maps
to reflect revised Goals, Objectives and Policies of the County. (Planning Commission 8-16-07) (

6. PUBLIC HEARING - Final Plat
– Pittman Subdivision – SD-2007-02
This Public Hearing is called to consider a request
for a Final Plat approval for the Pittman Subdivision, A Re-Plat of Lot 18, Dixie Farms Subdivision on creating two lots from an 11.99±
acre lot in the Agriculture-1 (AG-1) land use category, located on the south
side of

These
items consist of applications that have been submitted to the Growth Management
Department for review and will be scheduled for future Planning Commission
action. No action shall be taken on any items identified under this heading
until these items have been appropriately advertised for public hearings.

HEARING - Final Plat –
This Public Hearing is called to consider a request
for a Final Plat approval for the Magnolia Forest Phase III & IV
Subdivisions on an 83.09± acre parcel in the Rural Residential (RR) land use
category, located on the north side of US 90 and the east side of Selman Road. Raymond K. Sheline

8. PUBLIC HEARING – Variance Request – Steffan Residence –
V-2007-01:
This Public Hearing is scheduled to consider a request for consideration of a variance to permit a front building setback of approximately 32.1 feet and a water line setback variance of 2 feet, on a 0.3± acre parcel located on the south end of McCall Bridge Road (CR 267-A) – Gay Steffan Owner/Applicant (Planning Commission 9-13-07) (County Commission 10-2-06)
9. PUBLIC HEARING – Comprehensive Plan Amendment –
This Public Hearing is scheduled to consider an
administrative request to amend the Gadsden County Comprehensive Plan, Future
Land Use Map by changing the land use
designation on 61 lots, consisting of approximately 34 acres, located in the
western portion of the Ochlockonee Estates
subdivision from the Commercial (COMM) land use category and the Agriculture 3
(AG-3) land use category to the Rural
Residential (RR) land use category in order to correct errors, to assign the
actual land use to a property as it is used, and to change the land use on 39
acres comprising portions of two parcels
from the Rural Residential(RR) land use category to the Agriculture-3 (AG-3)
land use category located west of CR 269 and south of Dolan Road at the
terminus of Graceland Road in western Gadsden County in order to change the map
as a result of map errors made upon conversion of the original land use data to
the existing map. Gadsden County Growth Management
